FMIPA UI SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarships are assistance given to students as a form of appreciation for student achievement or in the form of educational assistance for students who have financial limitations.
Scholarships available at FMIPA UI
1. University Scholarships
BOP Scholarship (University): The University of Indonesia Scholarship is distributed in the form of Education Operational Costs (BOP) which is a scholarship scheme in the form of a reduction in the amount of BOP and the amount of Initial Fee (UP). This scholarship can be applied for by students (last year 2022) during the initial period of administrative registration for lectures. Currently, students can obtain it through the Fair UKT Submission System which is carried out at the beginning of administrative registration for lectures.
2. Government Scholarships
a). KIP College Scholarship
Smart Indonesia Card Scholarship: The Indonesian government has issued the Smart Indonesia College Card (KIP Kuliah) as a form of educational assistance given to high school, vocational school or equivalent graduates from underprivileged families so that they can continue their education to higher education. The scholarship provided is in the form of assistance for Education Costs at cost according to study program accreditation and Education Support Costs up to semester 8 for Regular S1/D4 and semester 6 for Vocational Education. Students who have been recommended by KIPK previously do not need to register for this selection [beasiswa.ui.ac.id].
b). KJMU Scholarship
The Jakarta Card Scholarship for Excellent Students (KJMU) is an assistance provided to prospective new students/active students who come from economically disadvantaged families and reside in Jakarta to pursue higher education. The scholarship provided is in the form of tuition assistance each semester.
3. Private Scholarships
Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral students of FMIPA also have the opportunity to obtain scholarships from external parties such as banks and other private companies. Scholarships are provided. There are scholarships that only provide monthly pocket money for a year, and there are also scholarships that provide monthly pocket money plus BOP allowances until the student graduates. Every year, around 900 FMIPA UI students from all classes and Study Programs receive scholarships from various sponsors. Some UI Partner scholarships:
a). Bank Indonesia's Outstanding Scholarship
This scholarship is a monthly educational support assistance scholarship plus components in the form of: Training from Bank Indonesia (writing opinions in print media, & public speaking training), Participating in GenBI Capacity Building, Leadership Camp, opportunities to create social projects & actively contribute to them, opportunities to participate in events organized by Bank Indonesia (such as Y20, ISEF, IMF-WB Annual Meeting, and other international conferences); Developing a network of brotherhood with the GenBI Nusantara community (BI scholarship recipient community throughout Indonesia, along with its alumni) [beasiswa.ui.ac.id].
b). PT Adaro Indonesia
This scholarship is a scholarship given to 30 undergraduate students from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Faculty of Medical Engineering at least semester III. The components of the scholarship given are a monthly Education Support Scholarship given every quarter for one year [beasiswa.ui.ac.id].
c). BCA Bakti Scholarship
This scholarship is a scholarship provided by the Bakti BCA Foundation. This scholarship is intended for undergraduate (S1) students at the University of Indonesia from all faculties. The components provided are Education Fees and Education Support Fees for a period of 2 (two) semesters for the 2022/2023 Academic Year [beasiswa.ui.ac.id].
d). Tanoto Foundation Exemplary Program Scholarship
This scholarship is a scholarship provided by the Tanota Foundation to active undergraduate students from 3T (frontier, outermost, disadvantaged) areas or active UI students with disabilities who have the ability, achievements, and potential to become capable, superior and responsible leaders. The components of the scholarship provided are Education Fees and Education Support Fees [beasiswa.ui.ac.id].

SCHOLARSHIP LIST
Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) Scholarship for Education Cost Assistance in 2023
Higher education is part of human resource development, as a national investment to welcome the future towards an advanced Indonesia. Through the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology provides educational assistance of Rp2,400,000.
Terms and Conditions :
- Undergraduate and diploma program students with active academic status, 2020-2023 intake, must attach a photocopy of their Student ID Card (KTM);
- Attach a photo or scan of your ID card
- Attaching Family Card (KK);
- Mahasiswa dengan besaran UKT maksimal Rp2.400.000,- per semester
- Students from families with a combined gross income of parents/guardians of a maximum of IDR 4,000,000.00 (four million rupiah) or if divided by the number of family members a maximum of IDR 750,000.00 (seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiah) per family member by attaching a pay slip or income statement from the local RT/RW;
- Students who are not currently being funded by the KIP Kuliah Program or other scholarship programs sourced from the APBN/APBD or private sector who have fully/partially funded UKT/SPP by attaching a statement letter stating that they are not currently receiving a scholarship or financial assistance from another institution.
- Attach a statement letter stating that you are not an active smoker;
