Types of Grants

There are various types of grants offered in the FMIPA UI environment, including:
External Funding
Research grant funding from external sources comes from both research schemes at the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as from various other funding outside the ministry, such as through cooperation with industry, foreign research institutions, and so on. Examples of forms of external funding schemes from the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2022 include Basic, Applied, and Development Research schemes. In addition, in 2017-2022, there were also several funding schemes that were successfully achieved by lecturers at FMIPA UI through external funds such as Newton fund, Asahi, UITM, INSINAS, PPKI dan lain-lain
Internal Funding by University of Indonesia
Various research grant funding schemes are provided by the University of Indonesia every year, where the scheme is adjusted from year to year depending on the long-term target of the research vision at the University of Indonesia. The research grant policy prepared by the University of Indonesia aims to improve the quality and quantity of research publications, both by lecturers and students at the University of Indonesia. Some of the research schemes provided by the University of Indonesia are:

The existence of research grants provided by FMIPA UI is to complete the performance targets in the field of FMIPA UI research, but are not optimally accommodated through research grants at the University of Indonesia level.
