Academic Quality Assurance Unit
In accordance with UI Rector Decree No. 009/SK/R/UI/2016 concerning the Internal Quality Assurance System Policy at the University of Indonesia, at the faculty level a unit was formed by the Dean called the Academic Quality Assurance Unit (UPMA). This unit functions as a driving force and coordinator in carrying out the role of quality controller and developer of the academic quality assurance system at the faculty level and is integrated with the UI quality assurance system as a whole. At the department level this function is carried out by the Academic Quality Assurance Team (TPMA).
The main task and function (tupoksi) of TPMA is to carry out academic quality assurance in every aspect related to the learning process at the FMIPA UI Department level, both in the S1, S2, and S3 study programs.
UPMA activities include:
- Providing assistance in the preparation of competency-based curriculum, assistance in the preparation of self-evaluation documents or accreditation forms, socialization of university policies for routine activities of implementing internal evaluations.
- Compiling the document of Guidelines for the Implementation of Thesis and Dissertation Examinations. The preparation of this Guideline aims to ensure that the implementation of thesis and dissertation examinations in FMIPA has measurable and transparent standards.
- Providing periodic analysis every semester on EVISEM of each study program in FMIPA to be evaluated by the Dean; and assisting the Faculty in filling out the SNP (National Education Standards) form which is carried out every year.
- Provide assistance to study program activities in renewing the accreditation of study programs in FMIPA whose accreditation period has expired.
- Becoming a resource person for opening new study programs, or for internal and external accreditation (with BPMA UI).

Examination Board In the curriculum document, each study program is given a network of Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK) for each Course that supports the achievement of the Graduate Profile. To ensure the achievement of the Graduate Profile for each Study Program, it is also necessary to ensure the achievement of each CPMK and Sub-CPMK for each course. Through ND WD1 (hyperlink to ND link does not exist yet) it is mandatory that every question that will be tested on the exam (UTS and UAS) must first be reviewed, with a form (hyperlink to form-link does not exist yet).
